POSITIVE IMPACT
Chablé Yucatán integrates sustainability into every facet of its design and operations. Reclaimed hacienda stones and fallen trees were repurposed during construction, while more than 100 Ka’anche’s - traditional Mayan growing gardens - supply organic produce for the restaurants and spa. Guests engage directly with conservation through melipona bee sanctuaries, wildlife protection, and eco-gardening activities for children. Solar panels now generate 60% of the resort’s energy, and thousands of plastic bottles have been eliminated with a glass-bottle program. Through Pesca con Futuro, the culinary team supports sustainable fisheries, while the boutique highlights Mexican artisans from 20 communities. Nearly half the staff come from local villages, underscoring Chablé’s role in community uplift, local pride, and cultural preservation.
