In exciting news, Aeromexico has announced it will open a direct flight between Madrid and Guadalajara in time for the festive travel season.
The nonstop route connecting Spain and Jalisco’s capital cities is set to open on December 15th 2021, with three weekly flights on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Night flights from Madrid to Guadalajara will depart at 11:35pm, arriving at 5:45am local time, with return flights from Jalisco’s capital taking off at 2:35pm and touching down in Madrid at 8am Spanish time.
The airline has been running flights between Madrid and Mexico City for more than 60 years, with the new additional flight expanding travel connections between Mexico and Spain.

As the direct route launches this winter, passengers headed to Jalisco will no longer have to change in Mexico City, cutting travel time that could be spent exploring the culinary, cultural and historical gems of the western state.
