Day 1: Arrival to Puerto Vallarta
After arriving at Puerto Vallarta airport, enjoy a private transfer to Hacienda San Angel. This boutique luxury hotel enjoys an ideal location near to Puerto Vallarta’s famous Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and its beautiful “crowned” tower.

Day 2: Sierra Madre expedition
Jump in a robust Mercedes Unimog off-road vehicle and journey to the remote, traditional villages of the Sierra Madre. See how these typical Mexican families live sustainably, growing and preparing their own foods as they have for centuries.
Along the way, also learn all about the local ecosystem and wildlife in the mountains and its jungles. Guests will also visit a local Mexican home to enjoy a meal of freshly prepared corn tortillas, beans, and salsas hand-made on the spot by the resident matriarch.
At the end of the experience, a golden expanse of virgin coastline awaits with an open bar and an al fresco lunch freshly prepared by your dedicated guides.

Day 3: Puerto Vallarta Free Day
Today, guests are free to explore safe and friendly Puerto Vallarta on their own. As a local resident, Journey Mexico is more than happy to make any suggestions for excellent restaurants or activities to take.

Day 4: Puerto Vallarta city tour and Rhythms of the Night show
Today, explore gorgeous Puerto Vallarta with a privately guided city tour. Visit the different art galleries and shops located along the boardwalk, known as El Malecon, and its surroundings.
Also, wander among the picturesque colonial and whitewashed buildings, cobblestone streets, and smell the brilliant profusion of flowers.
After, head back to the hotel to freshen up for the Rhythms of the Night excursion. It begins with a scenic ocean cruise across the Bay of Banderas to the isolated cove of Las Caletas. As the sun sinks into the Pacific, enjoy a privileged view of the shimmering lights scattered along the coastline.
Then, enjoy a buffet dinner under the stars, as the hypnotic and exhilarating stories of an ancient civilization are told through live music and modern dance. After the show, end a perfect evening with a nightcap and dancing beneath the stars on the short cruise back.

Day 5: Outdoor Adventure
Kick off the outdoor adventure in true 007 style with an exhilarating speed boat ride to Boca de Tomatlan, a secluded beach at the edge of the jungle on the southern shores of Banderas Bay.
Once on dry land, a 4×4 Mercedes Benz Unimog takes guests on an exhilarating off-road expedition 2,000 ft above sea level to a base camp deep in the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains.
Accompanied by expert guides, a mule is ready to take guests on a thrilling trek up the mountain, even deeper into the sub-tropical forest. After, fly through a thrilling series of zip-lines, rappel down waterfalls, traverse jungle bridges and finally splash through streams and natural river pools. Once back at base camp, relax and see photos of the day before returning.

Day 6: Departure from Puerto Vallarta
Depart the beautiful Pacific Coast by private transfer to the local international airport.
