Hotel El Ganzo

In 2022, El Ganzo became the first hotel in Mexico to achieve B Corp certification. Its approach extends from reducing single-use plastics, composting and recycling to supporting its neighboring communities and marine conservation. El Ganzo supports La Playa Centro Comunitario, a non-profit community centre helping more than 1,500 local residents, while their partnership with Kind Traveler directs $1USD from every qualifying room night to the project. The annual Azul Pacífico program brings different sectors together around ocean conservation, and the hotel also runs community recycling and waste-reduction initiatives.
