The property´s villas are nestled amongst carefully preserved vegetation, some with trees entering the tranquil private spaces, where open stone walls, wooden furnishings and woven rattan create a nature-inspired design. Oriundo offers a beautiful swimming pool, on-site restaurant, peaceful gardens, and even a Meliponary to conserve the eponymous bee species, a nod to the area´s Mayan legacy. One of the most amazing features is the hotel´s own cenote set within the grounds, where guests can arrange private yoga sessions, dinners, and evening swims.

Oriundo´s sustainable actions include the installation of solar panels, a waste separation system, and the collection and recycling of used oil. The on-property garden is used to cultivate ingredients for the hotel´s restaurant, complemented by purchasing produce from local suppliers in the region. Construction and decoration elements are also sourced locally from the region and the property´s Meliponary conserves the indigenous melipona bee species, as well as providing honey for the hotel´s own use.
