This seven-day, fully customizable vacation starts in Todos Santos, home to the world-famous Hotel California, for a cliff-side walk before heading to the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Reserves for a trek to three waterfalls. Next, explore the delights of La Paz before a sea kayaking adventure to Isla Espiritu Santo.

Along the way, guests will enjoy plenty of opportunities to meet the local wildlife and explore the great outdoors of this fascinating and beautiful region of Mexico.

Day 1: Arrival to Todos Santos

After a private transfer from the airport to the hotel, stroll along the beach and breathe in the desert air for the first time this vacation. Enjoy dinner and a visit to the historic Hotel California, made famous by the American rock band, the Eagles.

Day 2: Todos Santos hike

Explore the secluded coastline and pristine beaches surrounding the oasis town of Todos Santos on a guided sea cliff hike. Travel along miles of spectacular landscapes with sweeping views of Baja’s stark and rugged beaches.

Then, after a beach picnic and perhaps a swim in the ocean, take a guided walking tour of Todos Santos itself to learn about its history as an important community in Baja California Sur.

Day 3: Todos Santos and Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere

Set out to explore the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Reserve on foot, hiking through its ever-thickening cactus forests. The journey culminates at three desert waterfalls, in which guests can splash around, or just take pictures and relax with a wonderful picnic lunch.

After, head to the beautiful crescent-shaped beach of Los Cerritos for an opportunity to surf the gentle Pacific rollers. Late afternoon, return to the beautiful accommodation, and enjoy a night out at one of the many fantastic eateries in town.

Day 4: Todos Santos free day

Today is free to explore charming Todos Santos, shopping its many interesting tiendas, craft stores, and jewelry shops. Alternatively, take the chance for an optional experience such as horseback riding or taking a ceramics tour.

Day 5: Todos Santos and La Paz

Transfer from the Todos Santos hotel to La Paz and one of its many beautiful white-sand beaches. Relax on the sands and swim in the translucent waters.

Early afternoon, check-in to a charming lodging in time for a happy hour overlooking the beautiful Bay of La Paz. Enjoy dinner in town.

Day 6: Espiritu Santo Island and the Sea of Cortez

Transfer to Espiritu Santo Island in a high-speed motorboat, while a private guide discusses points of safety and gives beginners the basics of sea-kayaking.

Then, hop in a kayak and start paddling across the turquoise waters surrounding Espiritu Santo Island. Arrive at one of its many beautiful beaches for a picnic lunch.

After lunch and a natural history walk, board a speedy launch and ride to a beautiful off-shore island, home to a large sea lion colony. Experience the thrill of swimming with sea lion pups and snorkeling among thousands of tropical fish. Return to the hotel in La Paz to refresh for a night out on the town for dinner and a farewell fiesta!

Day 7: Departure to La Paz or Los Cabos

Transfer to La Paz airport or extend your stay. Transfers to Los Cabos Airport are also available.
