If you’re looking for the newest and hottest hotels in the world, Mexico is a great place to start. In Condé Nast Traveller’s 2016 Hot List picks, Mexico made the list for best new hotels in the world.
Next time you visit Mexico, consider letting us arrange a stay for you in one of these hotels:
Nomade – Tulum
Located in Tulum the new boutique hotel Nômade is the latest creation of architect Sebastian Sas, the same mastermind behind Be Tulum and spa Yäan. Opened just last December, the 37 suites and 2 villas fit with Tulum’s boho-chic vibe, incorporating details such as dream catchers, bamboo, and hammocks; and offering retreats, workshops, and talks led by spiritual healers and therapists in order to create a space “in a sacred land where the mind, body and soul will be delighted and fulfilled by mother nature.” Condé Nast calls the hotel “manifestly jet-set” referencing the luxurious linens and robes and boasts the rooms all have private terraces with jumbo beanbags just steps from the hotel’s quarter-mile private beach.

Casa Fayette – Guadalajara
Grupo Habita’s new boutique hotel Casa Fayette occupies an original 1940’s mansion with an adjacent new tower designed with the Habita’s signature clever and retro aesthetics. Opened in September of last year, the hotel features 37 rooms and suites, a bar, restaurant, pool, spa, terrace, and Barber shop. Condé Nast calls attention to the hotel’s “antique brass and wood bar for sampling the mezcal and tequila for which the region is known” and boasts the ideal location in the Fayette neighborhood steps from local bars, restaurants, and galleries.
