POSITIVE IMPACT

Your Journey Leaves A Lasting Impact

Travel has a way of waking you up to the world. That feeling of stepping outside the everyday, somewhere different ahead, new discoveries waiting.

The best journeys stay with us, and we can leave that same mark too: on the places we visit, the people we meet, and the communities that make it all possible.

Journey Mexico is a certified B Corporation, proud to be part of a global movement using business as a force for good. Tangible Impact we Have Had

Tangible Impact we Have Had

We love weaving sustainability into our bespoke itineraries - creating journeys with purpose that go beyond the guidebook, connect travelers to people and place, and help preserve them for the future.

The Projects We Partner With

Haciendas del Mundo Maya

Empowering Maya heritage through community action in the Yucatán

Mundo Maya Hacienda Foundation

(YUCATAN, CAMPECHE, AND QUINTANA ROO) The foundation strengthens the capacities of Mayan communities in the Yucatán Peninsula by fostering microregional development led by residents themselves. Its work promotes the preservation of Maya culture while addressing poverty and social marginalization through projects in traditional medicine, community-based education, primary healthcare access, and self-construction housing programs that empower families to build and improve their homes.

Arca Tierra

Reviving ancient regenerative farming in Mexico City’s UNESCO-listed Xochimilco.

Xochimilco Agroecological Initiative

(MEXICO CITY) The Xochimilco Agroecological Initiative works to revalue farming families and revitalize the ancient chinampa system in Xochimilco, a remnant of Mexico City’s historic lake network. Through agroecological practices, water and soil bioremediation, fair trade, and financial education, IAX supports sustainable food production, ecological conservation, and dignified livelihoods, demonstrating that agriculture in harmony with the ecosystem is viable and replicable.

Experiences That Connect and Enrich

Journey Mexico travelers go beyond the surface of a destination. That means building a Day of the Dead altar as Mexican families have done for generations, meeting the farmers reviving Xochimilco’s ancient floating gardens, or spending a night beneath the stars on Baja’s biodiverse Isla Espíritu Santo.
